We are delighted to welcome you to the Domaine du Vieux Porche, a warm and welcoming place nestling at the gateway to Poitiers. This former 18th century manor house, the Manoir de Frécoutant, was converted into an inn in 1990 and then completely restored in 2024 to offer you a warm, authentic and refined setting. This family project, led by Murielle and her two children, Claire and Matthieu, is the culmination of a shared dream: to transform this place steeped in history into a place of relaxation and gastronomy.

We wanted to create a place reflecting our family values, based on sharing, authenticity and conviviality. Each member of the family plays an essential role at the Domaine du Vieux Porche. Matthieu, who has been passionate about gastronomy for several years, runs the restaurant, where he and his chef offer bistronomic cuisine using fresh produce, inspired by the seasons. Claire, a qualified SPA wellness practitioner, oversees the wellness area, a haven of peace where you can enjoy personalised treatments and moments of relaxation. Murielle, meanwhile, is in charge of the general running of the Domaine, ensuring that each stay is one of rest and serenity.

Our beautifully landscaped garden, with its palm grove and lush green spaces, creates a soothing, relaxing atmosphere.
